Sizing
Knowing your wife or girlfriend's size is the most important step of this entire endeavor. Think about it, there is no way you can buy the wrong size and have it turn out okay. Too large and she’ll be wondering if you think she’s really that big. Too small, and she’ll think you’re hinting that she needs to lose a few pounds. That present would spell disaster.
Style
Here again, if you get the wrong style and it is over the top, this may end up just like having the wrong size. You should look at what she is wearing and keep it along those same styles, unless she like suprises.
